- The car rental booking must be eligible for online modification (i.e., before the car has been picked up, and the Modify Car button is enabled).
Step-by-Step Guide
Follow these steps:
- Log in to your ITILITE account and navigate to Trips.
- Find the trip that contains the car rental booking you wish to modify. Click on the trip card to open its details.
- Within the car rental booking details, locate and click the Modify Car button.
- On the Edit Trip page, you can adjust various details for your car rental. Update the pickup and drop-off dates and times, locations, or other traveler details as needed.
- After making your desired changes, click the Modify Car button to search for available vehicles based on your updated criteria.
- Review the search results and select your preferred car. You will see options with updated prices based on your modifications.
- On the confirmation page, carefully review all the new booking details, including any price adjustments. Click Confirm selection to finalize your modified booking.
- Once confirmed, ITILITE will process your modification. You will receive a confirmation email with your updated car rental voucher, and the new booking details will reflect on your Dashboard.

NOTE: When you modify a car rental, ITILITE performs an automated rebook-and-cancel process. A new car booking is created, and only after its successful confirmation is the original booking automatically cancelled. Both the new (Confirmed) and old (Cancelled) car bookings will be visible under the same trip on your Dashboard, each with its own voucher. No customer-facing email is sent for the cancellation of the old booking; only the success email for the modified booking is sent.
PRO-TIP: Modifying your car rental booking on ITILITE is free. However, the total cost of your rental may increase or decrease based on current market rates for your selected dates, locations, and car category. You can modify a booking multiple times, provided it remains eligible for online modification.
